GrailPay is the risk and data network for B2Bs. We give banks, payment processors, embedded fintech platforms, and lenders a real-time risk and data layer so they can approve more good payments and stop the bad ones before the money moves. Enterprise fintechs, payment companies, and financial institutions have used GrailPay to cut return rates by more than two-thirds and push auto-approval rates above 95%, even through peak-volume periods. We're a fast-growing, fintech startup in New York building critical payments infrastructure — our sales team is still small, which means the next few hires will shape how GrailPay sells for years to come.
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own large-to-enterprise sales at GrailPay. You'll build and close a pipeline of six- and seven-figure deals — $500K ACV and up — with banks, large fintechs, payment processors, and financial infrastructure companies, where GrailPay's risk intelligence platform can drive value across millions of accounts and billions of dollars in payment volume.
This is the most senior seller on our team. You'll work directly alongside our CRO to develop account strategy, shape enterprise go-to-market positioning, and close the deals that define GrailPay's growth trajectory. The title reflects the scope: this is a builder's role, not a maintainer's. As the enterprise motion matures, so will what you own — including, over time, the people on it.
• Build and develop a pipeline of enterprise accounts across banking, embedded fintech, payment processors, and data platforms
• Build named account plans mapping organizational structure, decision-making authority, and buying process
• Develop executive-level relationships through direct outreach, industry events, and strategic networking
• Own enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through close, managing long timelines (6–18+ months) with patience and precision
• Lead multi-threaded engagements across C-suite, VP-level, and functional stakeholders spanning risk, compliance, payments, product, engineering, and procurement
• Architect deal structures that align GrailPay's platform to each customer's business case
• Manage technical evaluations, RFPs, and proof-of-concept processes with Product Operations and Engineering
• Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise buyers on payments risk infrastructure, and modern account-based commerce
• Informally mentor AEs and Senior AEs on enterprise deal strategy and stakeholder management
• 6+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience (8+ preferred), with a consistent, demonstrable record of closing six- and seven-figure deals
• A sustained sales track record — multiple-time President's Club winner, consistent top 5–10% performer, or equivalent recognition, that you can back up with specific deals and numbers
• Proven experience selling into risk, compliance, or technical teams at banks, large fintechs, payment processors, or financial infrastructure companies
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-suite and VP-level decision-makers
• Track record of building an enterprise sales function — playbook, pricing, GTM — at an early-stage or growth-stage company, not just operating inside one someone else built
• Proficiency with CRM tools and a disciplined forecasting methodology
• Existing network of senior relationships at banks, large fintechs, and financial services technology companies
• Deep fluency in ACH, wire, and check payment infrastructure, risk/underwriting, or bank-side compliance
• Experience selling technical, API-first products to both business and technical buyers
